This experience follows our Covid Protocol. Please make sure to go over our protocol and to only reserve an experience if you´re in complete agreement with the terms.
Those of you who are traveling with children, whether you’re parents, teachers, worldschoolers, or a mixed group, have been requesting kid-focused experiences. Here’s one of our most popular experiences catered to you!
Like our other Paint and Sip pexperience, this family-oriented event is mostly hands-on. You´ll begin the experience by learning a bit about colors and patterns as you choose your alebrije and paint your base coat. Then you´ll get to sip agua de sabor (or coffee or mezcal, if you´re an adult) while you decorate your alebrije and munch on cookies.

What to Expect
Step One: Read our Covid Protocol. If you agree with these terms and practices, write to us and request this experience, telling us how many people are in your small group and what your dates of availability are. This experience can be hosted in a cafe in Oaxaca’s city center, or in the hosts’ home village of Tilcajete. Let us know which works for you, and if you want to head out to the village, tell us where you’re staying so that we can arrange to pick you up on the agreed-upon date.
Step Two: Once we’ve found a date that works for our hosts and for your group, we will send you a Paypal request for a deposit for your experience. This deposit is non-refundable. In case of an emergency with our hosts, we will do our best to reschedule with you at a mutually-convenient time. If that is not possible, we will refund your deposit.
Step Three: We will either meet at a centrally-located cafe or pick you up at your location to head out to the village depending on the logistics we agreed upon.
