Tlayudona designs custom group experiences in Oaxaca that bring travelers into meaningful contact with local culture, artisans, and communities. We regularly organize educational travel programs and extended residencies for international universities, particularly in the arts, social sciences, and culinary studies, combining hands-on workshops, cultural immersion, and opportunities for language and community exchange.
Our core team includes two sociologists and a museum curator, and we collaborate with local hosts whose lifetimes of experience and transgenerational knowledge shape every program. Together, we create experiences that bridge theory and practice—allowing participants to learn directly from the people who sustain Oaxaca's living traditions.

I brought 50 people from different countries and with very different interests to Oaxaca for two weeks.
