Your experience is led by Adiv, a professional Oaxacan photographer and longtime Tlayudona collaborator, who specializes in creating timeless portraits that celebrate the beauty and traditions of Oaxaca. Together, you'll visit carefully selected locations just outside Oaxaca City, including vibrant marigold flower fields (cempasúchil), traditional flores de muerto landscapes, historic adobe ruins, and other spectacular seasonal settings that showcase the spirit of Día de los Muertos.

Throughout the experience, you'll be welcomed by local hosts Claudia and Roberto, members of the community who provide exclusive access to these beautiful locations while sharing their traditions and ensuring your visit respectfully supports their village.

For the ultimate Day of the Dead portrait, choose the optional professional Catrina face painting, created by a talented local artist at Tlayudona before your session. To capture Oaxaca at its most magical, all photoshoots are scheduled during sunrise or sunset, when the soft golden light creates unforgettable images.
